She completed her Masters Degree at Eastern Oregon University, in Music/Drama/PE (Dance) Education. Her thesis was on Performance and Educational Anxiety, of which she is a national consultant, author, and pursuing a Doctorate. She has six children (one of which was a performer in Forte!, another a choreographer.) She loves Forte! and is delighted to bring her expertise to the great kids in Forte! Most of all she adores her sweet husband who is an excellent performer in his own right, but also a backstage rock (who rocks!)
Choreographer Julie Adams
Julie grew up heavily involved in theater. Some of her earliest memories are exploring the theater while her mom choreographed. Her theatrical debut was as a chorus member in Fiddler On the Roof at age six. Since then she has performed in many plays, musicals, and concerts both as a dancer, actor, and singer. When she got to college, she explored different majors but was always drawn back to the performing arts. In 2014, Julie graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelors Degree in Theater Arts Studies with an emphasis in Makeup Design and minors in Music and Ballroom Dance. Julie has thoroughly enjoyed being a part of forte and working with Heather, Christine and all of the teens. Julie would also like to give a shout out to her amazing parents and family for always supporting, loving, and teaching her. “I love you!”
Choreographer Christine Riesenweber
Christine has been teaching and choreographing dance for 15 years in studios, musicals and high school. After graduating with a Dance Performance degree from the University of Central Oklahoma, she performed as an apprentice with a modern dance company, Out On A Limb, and a hip hop, jazz and contemporary company, RACE. Her love of dance led her to teaching dance in public schools for 3 years before she moved to the Tri-Cities. Christine has a passion for helping students reach their full potential and also letting each individual performer find their voice.
